Men’s Tennis Set for Rice Invitational, ITA All-American Championships

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's tennis team embarks on its third weekend of fall tournament play beginning Friday, September 28 for the first of three days at the Texas Tamale Invitational hosted by Rice University in Houston, Texas.
The Green Wave also open play with pre-qualifying singles and doubles matches at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa on Saturday. Pre-qualifying concludes Sunday, followed by qualifying rounds Oct. 1-2 and main draw matches Oct. 4-8.
Senior Eric Wagner and junior Dane Esses will compete in Houston, beginning with doubles play on Friday at 9 a.m., with singles action to follow.
In Tulsa, sophomore Akos Kotorman will begin his journey in pre-qualifying, while senior and No. 103 Tyler Schick, juniors Luis Erlenbusch and No. 60 Ewan Moore and sophomore No. 121 Hamish Stewart await their opponents in the qualifying draw.
