Women’s Tennis Heads to Baton Rouge for ITA Southern Regional

NEW ORLEANS – More than two weeks removed from its first tournament of the fall season, the Tulane women's tennis team returns to the courts Thursday, October 17 for the first day of the 2019 ITA Southern Regional hosted by LSU in Baton Rouge.
Day one consists of two rounds of singles qualifying and the first round of doubles qualifying. Friday will begin main draw matches in both singles and doubles.
Senior Christina Sisti is set to face off against Katy de la Garza of Southern Miss in Thursday's first round of singles qualifying.
On Friday, senior Laura Fabrizi, junior Daniela La Fuente, sophomores Lauren Gish and Adelaide Lavery, and freshmen Lahari Yelamanchili and Mackenzie Clark will compete in the first round of the singles main draw.
La Fuente and Gish, Lavery and Fabrizi and Yelamanchili and Clark comprise the Green Wave's three doubles tandems beginning doubles main draw matches on Friday morning.
