Women's Tennis Concludes Play at ITA Southern Regional

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Tulane women's tennis team completed its final day of play at the 2019 ITA Southern Regional on Sunday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex.

Sophomore Adelaide Lavery collected the Green Wave's lone consolation singles win of the day, topping Auburn's Lindsay Song, 7-6(6), 6-2. She was also part of the Wave's lone doubles victory, teaming with redshirt sophomore Lauren Gish for a gritty, 8-7(5) win against a tandem from host LSU.

The Green Wave returns to action Nov. 1-3 when it sends players to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the UNC Invitational, as well as Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the Roberta Alison Invitational.
