Hightower Tabbed to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane men's basketball junior guard Teshaun Hightower has been selected to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll in an announcement by the league office Monday.
The Green Wave are now 2-for-2 having a student-athlete receive the weekly honor, as Jordan Walker was selected on Nov. 11.
Hightower averaged a team-leading 20.0 points to complement 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 11 of 21 (.524) overall and 15 of 20 (.750) at the free throw line in a 2-0 week for the Wave. He scored a career-high 21 points and made 10 of 11 free throws in Tuesday night's 88-79 home win over Jackson State, before compiling 19 points, four assists and three steals in Saturday's 79-52 rout against Northwestern State.
Tulane heads to South Carolina for the first of three games at the Myrtle Beach Invitational beginning Thursday, November 21 against Mississippi State. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. (CT) at HTC Arena, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
