
Hightower Earns AAC Weekly Honor Roll Nod

The Green Wave have had one student-athlete receive the weekly honor five times this season, while Hightower was last recognized on Nov. 18.
In three games last week, Hightower averaged 22.0 points and and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting north of 51 percent from the field and 75 percent at the free throw line for the Green Wave. The junior poured in a career-high 33 points on 9 of 15 shooting with three 3s and a 12 of 15 day at the free throw line against Towson. His 33 points were the most in a single game by a player in The American this season.
Additionally, he had 15 points against Alcorn State and 18 points against Akron earlier in the week.
Hightower currently ranks second in The American in scoring with 17.8 points per game and third in minutes per game with 32.9. He has tallied at least 20 points on four different occasions this season.
Tulane begins American Athletic Conference play at Memphis on December 30. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m., at FedEx Forum and the game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
