New Gate Times, Parking and More Highlight Baseball Opening Series This Week

NEW ORLEANS – With the start of the Tulane baseball season just days away, Green Wave fans coming out to Greer Field at Turchin stadium for the squad's 36 home games this year will have a new opening time for gates, parking access and more.
Tulane begins the campaign Friday night at 6:30 p.m. for the start of a three-game set against the George Washington Colonials this weekend. Saturday's game is set for 4:30 p.m. with Sunday's finale beginning at 1 p.m. in New Orleans.
Gates for all games this season at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium will open one hour prior to first pitch, as fans will be able to enter the gates this weekend at 5:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and noon.
Parking for Green Wave games can be purchased for $5 on a game-by-game basis in the Diboll Garage on Ben Weiner Drive, past Greer Field at Turchin Stadium and Yulman Stadium. Spaces in the garage are based on availability, as parking in the Claiborne Lot is only for season pass holders.
This weekend, fans will be able to pick up 2019 Tulane baseball team posters, with some of the other promotions this season featuring rally towels for the Ole Miss series, Bark in the Park on March 23 against Houston Baptist and Netflix and Cheer cosplay day on April 23 against Southeastern Louisiana.
Every Sunday home game is Riptide's Kids Club Day, where club members receive free admission to the game, get access to inflatables around the park and other benefits.
