Tulane Thursday Throwback: Jake Rogers

On Sunday night in Cleveland, former Tulane standout Jake Rogers is going to be as close to realizing his dream of being a Major League Baseball player than ever before.

In front of what should be a solid crowd at the 2019 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game ahead of the MLB All-Star Game two days later, Rogers will have the opportunity to showcase the skills that has him rated as one of the best young catcher prospects in the minors.

The rest of the professional ranks are just catching up to what Tulane fans were able to see in person for the three seasons he wore the Olive and Blue, throwing out runners at second base and hitting one of the most memorable home runs in Tulane baseball history.
