TULANE HEADS TO AUBURN FOR SATURDAY NIGHT MATCHUP
- The Green Wave travel to Auburn on Saturday for their first road test of the season as they head to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game will be aired live on the ESPN2.
- Tulane will visit Auburn for the first time since 2006.
- The two teams used to meet on an annual basis back when Tulane was a member of the SEC.
- Tulane holds the all-time series lead by a 17-14-6 count.
- The two teams played to a tie in their first all-time meeting back in 1902 at Tulane.

1. The Green Wave will be in search of their first win over a ranked opponent since 1984.
2. Tulane will look to win its first road opener since 2016.
3. The Green Wave's last win over Auburn came back on Oct. 29, 1955.Â
4. Senior quarterback Justin McMillan improved to 6-1 as a starter last week, as the Green Wave defeated FIU 42-14.
5. Tulane has won six of its last seven games dating back to last year.
6. Junior defensive lineman Patrick Johnson recorded one sack against FIU. He has now earned at least half a sack in 10 of his last 11 games dating back to last season.
7. Tulane has rushed for at least 100 yards in 41 consecutive games dating back to the end of the 2015 season. The Green Wave had 350 rushing yards against FIU.
8. Tulane's 42-point outburst against FIU marked the second straight game in which the Green Wave have surpassed 40 points. The last time Tulane posted back-to-back 40-point games was in 2012. The last time Tulane scored 40 points in three straight games was during its perfect season in 1998.
9. The Green Wave enters their matchup with Auburn having rushed for over 300 yards in back-to-back games (337 vs. UL-Lafayette and 350 vs. FIU).

Seven Green Wave student-athletes made their way to Tulane from the state of Alabama. PJ Hall (Hoover), Darius Hodges (Montgomery), Willie Langham (McAdory), KJ Vault (Hoover), Darius Hodges (Montgomery), Coby Neenan (Dothan) and Alfred Thomas (Montgomery) will all return to their home state this weekend. Tulane defensive coordinator Jack Curtis (Birmingham) and offensive line coach Cody Kennedy (Florence) also hail from Alabama.

- The Tigers will welcome Tulane to Jordan-Hare Stadium for their 2019 home opener.
- Auburn owns a 251-69-6 in non-conference play since beginning SEC action in 1933.
- Auburn's comeback from a 15-point deficit against Oregon was its largest comeback since the 2010 Alabama game (24-point deficit overcome for a 28-27 win).
- The Tigers face six of the top 12 teams in the Associated Press preseason rankings, with four of those contests away from home.
- Bo Nix was the first true freshman to start an Auburn season opener at quarterback since Travis Tidwell in 1946 and the first SEC true freshman QB to start an opener since Tennessee's Brent Schaeffer in 2004.

- There have been nine 600-yard total offense games and 25 500-yard games during Malzahn's tenure as head coach at Auburn, the latest being the 586-yard output against Purdue in the Music City Bowl, the third 500-yard game last season.
