
Swimming Travels to Houston for Dual Meet at Rice

NEW ORLEANS — The Tulane swimming team (1-0) is headed to Houston, Texas this weekend to compete in a two-day dual meet at Rice.
The Green Wave open action against the Owls in session one on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Rice Aquatics Center Natatorium before continuing on with session two at 3:30 p.m. Session three kicks off on Saturday at 10 a.m. to conclude competition.
The event will not be open to spectators.
In the team's first meet of the season on Oct. 17, Tulane defeated Delta State 201-42, finishing first in all events except one while also taking the top three spots in seven of 13 total events.
Tulane's last matchup against Rice was at last season's Dual-A-Pa-Looza in Miami, Florida. The Green Wave fell to the Owls, 76-123.
