Tulane Men’s Tennis Continues Play in the MSU Bulldog Invitational

STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Tulane University men's tennis team continued play on Saturday in the MSU Bulldog Invitational as it faced Alabama and Wichita State in a hidden dual competition.

Tulane took three of the four doubles matches, posting a pair of wins over Alabama and one over Wichita State.

The Green Wave also had a strong performance in singles competition, as sophomore Billy Suarez, Fynn Kuenkler, Alex Bancila and Charlie Barry all posted wins.

"We saw a great response today after a very tough long day yesterday," head coach Mark Booras said. "The guys all brought great intensity and focus to our match against a very tough Alabama team and we saw a lot of success from many different spots in the lineup which encourages. We have a lot of ability to work with this year with such a young team."

Tulane returns to action tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. against Michigan.

The MSU Bulldog Invitational is open to the public and admission is free.

In the case of inclement weather, matches will be moved inside the Rula Tennis Pavilion. In association with a campus-wide mandate, masks are required to enter the Rula Tennis Pavilion
