Tulane Men’s Tennis Concludes Competition at the MSU Bulldog Invitational

STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Tulane University men's tennis team concluded play on Sunday in the MSU Bulldog Invitational as it faced Michigan and Wichita State in a hidden dual competition.

Tulane was only able to capture of match in the double competition, as Alex Bancila/Benji Jacobson picked up a 7-5 win over Wichita State. The Green Wave also posted a solid performance in singles competition, as Rafael de Alba, Luc Hoeijmans and Luka Petrovic all posted wins.

"All in all we had a good weekend with everybody on the team picking up some wins in singles and doubles against top programs," head coach Mark Booras said. "We learned a lot about our guys and saw how strong our team culture is. The information from this weekend will give us a good idea of what to work on as we prepare for the next tournament."

The Green Wave returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 14, as it takes part in the ITA Southern Regional in Auburn, Alabama.
