
Palacios and Rosenberg Set to Compete at U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball

NEW ORLEANS – Senior Jennifer Rosenberg and sophomore Carlota Palacios of the Tulane golf team will compete at the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship at the Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, from Saturday-Wednesday, April 24-28.

The pair will tee off at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow from the first tee. The course will play as a 6,349-yard par-72.
"We are excited for Jenny and Carlota to experience their first USGA Championship," Tulane head coach Stew Burke said. "Competitions at the elite amateur level are where both of these players belong and I am sure this will be the first of many USGA successes that they will have. The whole team is looking forward to watching them compete and represent our program this week."

The tournament will open with 36 holes of stroke play, 18 Saturday and 18 Sunday, before moving to 32 sides will then qualify for match play following two rounds of stroke play. The qualifying teams will then move into a bracket of match play to conclude on Tuesday.

The two Green Wave golfers qualified for the event after shooting a 64 at the Huntsville Country Club in October.
