The American Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Schedule Matrix

NEW ORLEANS – The American Athletic Conference announced the 2020-21 conference schedule matrix for the Tulane University men's basketball team today.
The conference slate will feature an 18-game format in the 2021-22 season. Each team will face eight opponents twice in a home/away format. The last two games will be made up of one home game and one away game scheduled with the remaining conference opponents.
The Green Wave will play UCF, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, South Florida, SMU, Temple and Wichita State twice during the 2021-22 season. The Olive and Blue split last year's season series with East Carolina and Temple.
Tulane will travel to play Cincinnati with no return trip scheduled. The Green Wave will welcome Tulsa to Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse and will not make the return trip to Oklahoma. Tulane beat Tulsa twice in the 2020-21 season, including a 77-70 win over the Golden Hurricane in the AAC Tournament.
