St. Michael Special School Is Rolling With the Wave
Oct 1, 2022 | Baseball
NEW ORLEANS- After seven long years, Tulane's baseball team has revived its partnership with St. Michael Special School. The students of SMSS came to Greer Field at Turchin Stadium on Saturday to join the team for a day of practice.
SMSS educates students age six through adulthood with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Curriculum is geared toward purposeful academics tailored to individual needs in an environment where every child participates in a variety of meaningful activities.
Tulane Baseball is once again part of that environment. Members of the Green Wave have made many visits to the school's campus in preparation for their day at the stadium. The Greenies participated in many different activities with the art, music, gym and academics departments prior to the day at the ballpark.

Saturday afternoon consisted of all things baseball, friendship, food and fun.

Tulane Baseball can't wait to continue this beloved tradition throughout this season and for many to follow.
