
Tulane Set for ITA Southern Regional Championships

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane Men's Tennis team will return to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the second time this fall to play in the ITA Division I Men's Southern Regional Championships beginning on Thursday. The tournament will run from Thursday through Sunday and be hosted by the University of Alabama.
The Green Wave will have four players in action in the Southern Regional Championships this weekend. Fynn Kuenkler and Luka Petrovic will lead Tulane into the tournament each earning a bid to the singles main draw. Kuenkler will begin with a bye into the round of 32 while Petrovic will start competition in the round of 64. Rafael de Alba and Alex Bancila will both begin play in the singles qualifying draw in the round of 32 after receiving a first-round bye.
In doubles, Kuenkler and Bancila will team up and de Alba and Petrovic will take the court together for the Green Wave in the main draw.
