Golf Sits Eighth After Two Rounds in Jim West Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Texas – After 36 holes the Tulane University golf team sits in eighth place in the Jim West Challenge hosted by Texas State.

The Green Wave hit 8-over as a team. No. 27 Oklahoma State is in first having shot 9-under as a team through two rounds.

Matilde Innocenti leads the way for Tulane. Through two rounds the sophomore is 2-under (70, 72), good for 10^th.

Carla Bernat is in the two spot and is just a stroke behind Innocenti. Bernat holds the 11^th position, going 1-under on the day (70, 73).

Cleo Liu and Sandra Vazquez sit 7-over through two rounds, while Carlota Palacios is 9-over.

Round three begins tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
