Tulane Opens Fall Campaign With 20 Wins in Collegiate Beach Clash

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Tulane Beach Volleyball began its fall 2022 season with a strong showing on the opening day of the Collegiate Beach Clash Saturday. The Green Wave finished the day with 20 total wins and finished at the top landed at the top of six groups of pool play.

The Wave went an undefeated 3-0 in five different pools while mixing up its pairing for each match. Tulane played 30 total matches on its first and only day of competition securing 20 wins to best a pair of SEC foes, South Carolina (17) and LSU (16).

Up next, the Green Wave will send two pairs to represent the program at the Pairs Championships in Huntsville, Alabama, November 4-6. The rest of the Wave team will host the Tulane Invitational at White Sands Volleyball Courts the same weekend, November 5-6.
