Tulane Finishes Play at the Pairs Championships

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The two pairs representing Tulane University Beach Volleyball completed competition in the AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships on Sunday. The two Green Wave duos earned four total wins in bracket play of the tournament and five total wins on the weekend.

The tandem of Mollie Ebertin and Kendall Peters led the way for Tulane on the weekend earning three of the Wave's five wins in the tournament. The pair won one match in pool play before picking up two victories in bracket play Saturday. Their competition in the tournament ended Sunday with a three-set loss in the 17^th Bracket.

Abby Jackson and Samantha Mehlman earned the other two victories of the weekend for the Green Wave. Jackson and Mehlman picked up both of their wins in bracket play on Saturday. Their final match of the tournament ended in a loss in three sets in the 49^th Bracket.

Up next, the two Green Wave pairs will join the rest of the Tulane Beach Volleyball team for the Southern Miss Invitational November 19-20.
