Dec 17, 2022 | Men's Basketball
CHICAGO – Tulane Men's Basketball falls to 6-4 with a 56-62 loss to George Mason in the Legends of Basketball Classic in Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
Four players scored in double figures with Jaylen Forbes leading with 12. Sion James and Jalen Cook both totaled 11, while Kevin Cross had 10.
In a low scoring first half, Tulane shot just 11% from the field while George Mason shot 15%. Heading into the locker room the Wave led by two, continuing their streak of leading at the half of every game so far this season.
The game was knotted up nine times in the second half, with the last time coming at the 3:41 mark with the teams at 50 a piece. Four quick points from the Patriots would be enough to slow down the Wave who would drop the game 56-62.
