
Tulane Men’s Tennis Defeats Michigan State at ASU Spring Break Tournament, 4-0

TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 62 Tulane University men's tennis picked up a victory over Michigan State 4-0 on the second day of the Arizona State Spring Break Tournament. The win improves the Green Wave to 5-7 on the season with another match on deck in Arizona Sunday.
The duos of Charlie Barry and Benji Jacobson and Fynn Kuenkler and Luc Hoeijmans got the Wave off to a good start by each picking up wins in doubles to secure the first point of the match. Barry and Jacobson picked up a 6-4 win on court one while Kuenkler and Hoeijmans earned a 6-3 win on court two.
The momentum stayed on the side of the Green Wave in singles play as three players secured two-set victories to clinch the match for Tulane. Hoeijmans delivered on court one with a 6-3, 6-2 win. Luka Petrovic earned his two-set victory on court three 6-2, 6-2. On court six, Barry won 6-1, 6-3 as the Green Wave returned to the win column with a 4-0 sweep over the Spartans.
The Green Wave moves on to face Penn State tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. CT at the Kiwanis Tennis Center. There will be no live scoring, but the match will be available to stream by clicking HERE.
