
Beach Volleyball Goes a Perfect 5-0 at Home

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane beach volleyball went 3-0 on the day to finish up the competition in the Tulane at the White Sands Volleyball Courts on Saturday.
With their victories, the Green Wave went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend to improve to 11-2 on the year.
No.1 Pair Kendall Peters and Maddie Speicher secured the first point of the day for Tulane, defeating Houston Baptists' top pair 21-13, 22-20.
Pair number two got point number two as Samantha Melham and Lara Tourella won 21-16, 22-18 over HBU.
On court three Aston Mares and Sara Hall needed three sets to put away HBU's third pair. They took the first set 21-18, dropped the second 22-24 and rallied in the third to win 15-10. Josie Cole and Sam Green also needed three sets to secure the win going 16-21, 21-19, 15-12.
Haley Gibson and Savka Popovic would finish out the moring or the Wave winning the final point over Houston Baptist.
Tulane made quick work of Nicholls in the first session of the afternoon, sweeping them 5-0.
Cole and Green had the most dominant performance against Nicholls taking their first set 21-2 on their way to a match win.
Top pair Peters and Speicher also had a dominant 21-12, 21-9 performance.
Tulane would finish the day by going 4-1 versus UNO.
Peters and Speicher would end the day for the Green Wave with a three-set win over UNO's top pair. They would take the match 21-17, 20-22, 15-13.
