
Tulane Men’s Tennis Welcomes No. 35 Memphis Friday

NEW ORLEANS – The No. 57 Tulane University men's tennis will aim to win its third consecutive match as it hosts No. 35 Memphis on Friday. The match between the Green Wave and the Tiger is set for a 1 p.m. start at the City Park Tennis Center.
Tulane holds an 8-5 advantage over Memphis in the all-time series including wins in the last two matches. The Green Wave is 3-1 in home matches this season and holds a 3-2 record against the Tigers in New Orleans. The last time the Wave and the Tigers met, Tulane won the match with a 4-0 sweep of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Under head coach Mark Booras, the Green Wave has split its last 10 matches with the Tigers 5-5.
The Wave is coming off a 2-1 weekend in the Arizona State Spring Break Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. Tulane picked up wins over Michigan State (4-0) and Penn State (4-3) on the weekend while dropping one match to No. 72 Wichita State.
Following the match against the Tigers, the Green Wave will welcome No. 71 Oklahoma State to New Orleans on Sunday, March 20. The match between Tulane and the Cowboys is set for 1 p.m. CT at City Park Tennis Center.
