
Tulane Men’s Tennis Welcomes No. 32 Tulsa on Friday

NEW ORLEANS – The No. 64 Tulane University men's tennis will aim to return to the win column as it hosts No. 32 Tulsa on Friday. The match between the Green Wave and the Golden Hurricane is set for 1 p.m. at the City Park Tennis Center.
The Wave enters the match with a 6-9 record on the season and a 3-3 mark at home following a 4-3 loss to No. 71 Oklahoma State at City Park Tennis Center on Sunday.
Tulane holds an 11-6 advantage over Tulsa in the all-time series including its current three-match win streak against the Golden Hurricane. The Wave is 6-1 against Tulsa in home matches with its last win over the Golden Hurricane in New Orleans coming on April 7, 2017, 6-1. The last time the Green Wave defeated Tulsa was on March 29, 2019, when Tulane swept past the Golden Hurricane 7-0.
The Green Wave is led in doubles action by the pairing of Luc Hoeijmans and Fynn Kuenkler with eight wins on the season including victories in their last four matches. In singles, Luka Petrovic leads Tulane with eight wins while Kuenkler holds the best record at 7-3 on the year.
Following the match against the Golden Hurricane, the Green Wave will host top-ranked TCU in New Orleans on Sunday, March 27. The match between Tulane and the Horned Frogs is set for 1 p.m. CT at City Park Tennis Center.
