Track & Field Travels to Auburn Outdoor Meet Coming Off Impressive Houston Showing

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University outdoor track & field team will head to the War Eagle Invitational in Auburn, AL this weekend.
The meet will take place on Friday and Saturday at The Hutsell-Rosen Track.
Tulane will send 23 athletes, 20 women and three men, to compete in the War Eagle Invitational.
The meet will kick off with the women's hammer throw at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and finish up with the men's 4x400m at 4:35 p.m. on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Green Wave competed in the Houston Alumni Invitational on April 2nd and turned plenty of heads.
Tulane collected 13 personal records, nine top-five finishes and three top-10 program records at the one-day meet.
Sophomore Kara Schiek won the javelin with a PR throw of 37.69m.
Evans Kipchumba ran the 3000m in 8:39.22, a personal-record and the sixth fastest time in Tulane history.
Megan Fitzgerald finished second in the pole vault with a height of 3.95m, her PR and the ninth highest vault in program history.
Aldrianna Dupree placed fourth in the 100m with a PR of 11.92 and Oneke Gwan also took a fourth-place finish in the 400m, running a PR of 56.25.
