Track & Field Makes the Trip to Monroe for ULM Invitational
Apr 21, 2022 | Track & Field
NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University outdoor track & field team is heading to Monroe, La. this weekend to participate in the Warhawk Classic hosted by University of Louisiana Monroe.
38 athletes, 23 women and 15 men, will compete inside Brown Stadium against 12 other teams including LA Tech, Nicholls State, and Jackson State.
The meet kicks off with the men's hammer throw at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and finishes up with the men's 4x400m at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday.
The Green Wave currently has 15 athletes who are in the top 12 in the AAC in at least one event. With the conference championships just three weeks away, the ULM meet is another great opportunity to build on the growing confidence the team has developed so far this season.
Green Wave football players Cameron Carroll, Kiland Harrison, TJ Huggins, Brandon Kim, and Phat Watts will be running in the 100m sprint.
The full schedule and live results can be found here.
