
Tulane Men’s Tennis Welcomes No. 50 Florida Atlantic Friday

NEW ORLEANS – The No. 64 Tulane University men's tennis team will host another match against a ranked opponent as No. 50 Florida Atlantic will be in New Orleans on Friday. The match between the Green Wave and the Owls is set for 3:30 p.m. CT at City Park Tennis Center.
Fans can follow the scores of the match between Tulane and FAU by CLICKING HERE. The Wave enters the match with a 7-12 record on the season and a 4-6 mark at home this year.
Tulane and Florida Atlantic have met twice in program history with the Green Wave holding a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series. Both matches between the Wave and the Owls have been played in New Orleans. The two programs have not met on the court since 2003, when Tulane won the last matchup 6-1 on March 23. The previous year the Green Wave defeated FAU in the first meeting between the two programs by a score of 4-3 on March 10, 2002.
The Green Wave is led in doubles action by the pairing of Luc Hoeijmans and Fynn Kuenkler with eight wins on the season. In singles, Luka Petrovic leads Tulane with 10 wins while Kuenkler and Charlie Barry follow with nine and seven victories, respectively, on the year.
Following the match against the Owls, the Green Wave will host No. 31 SMU in New Orleans on Sunday, April 10. The match between Tulane and the Mustangs is set for 1 p.m. CT at City Park Tennis Center.
