
Track & Field Set to Compete in AAC Outdoor Championships

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University outdoor track & field team is traveling to Wichita, Kansas for the AAC Outdoor Championships this weekend.
The Green Wave will look to finish strong as it completes a successful outdoor season on the track.
There will be events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday that will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The meet kicks off with the women's hammer throw at 12:00 p.m. on Friday and closes out with the men's 1600m relay on Sunday at 7:45 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held after the conclusion of the final event Sunday.
The Wave is sending 23 athletes to take on the rest of the conference in field and running events. Full entries can be found at the bottom of the page.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wave went to the Tom Tellez Invitational in Houston for a final tune-up before the AAC Championships.
Tulane claimed four podiums and six top five finishes.
Kara Steele took gold in the triple jump with a 12.66m leap, the sixth best jump all-time for a Tulane athlete.
