
Former Tulane Men's Basketball Standouts Participate in NBA Summer League

NEW ORLEANS – Former Tulane Men's Basketball standouts Kevin Zhang, Cam Reynolds and Melvin Fraizer wrapped up play in the NBA2K23 Summer League in Las Vegas this weekend.
Reynolds played in all five games with the Los Angeles Clippers averaging 19.4 minutes per game, 9.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. The Clippers went 2-3 in Las Vegas, with Reynolds best game coming versus the Utah Jazz where he played 25.56 minutes, scoring 12 points, three steals and bringing down four rebounds.
Zhang appeared in four of five games for the Phoenix Suns averaging 5.7 minutes and 4.3 points per game. Zhang had a stellar night versus the Dallas Mavericks grabbing nine points in just six minutes of play. In 2021 the Tulane graduate was the Chinese CBA Rookie of the Year, All-Star, All-Star MVP and Slam Dunk Contest Champion.
Fraizer saw the court in three games for the Minnesota Timberwolves while in Vegas. The forward averaged 12:5 minutes and 3.0 points per game. Frazier's best performance came versus the Memphis Grizzlies, playing 11:57 minutes, scoring 12 points and securing three rebounds. The Wolves went 2-3 in Las Vegas.
