Tulane Baseball Announces 2022 Fall Ball Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – A pair of exhibition games, 11 practices, 10 intrasquad scrimmages, an alumni game and the Fall Ball World series highlight the Tulane University baseball team's 2022 fall ball schedule head coach Jay Uhlman announced on Friday. Â

The Green Wave will open its fall ball slate on Oct. 14 with a series of practices before it takes part in a pair of exhibition games against UL-Lafayette Saturday, Oct. 29th and a trip to Nicholls on Saturday, Nov. 5th.

On Friday, Nov. 11, Tulane will begin its five-game Fall Ball World Series intrasquad matchup.

All games and practices (aside from the trip to Nicholls) will be held inside Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Admission is free to both matchups with UL-Lafayette.

The Green Wave enters the fall in hopes of building off its successful 2022 campaign where it finished fifth in the American Athletic Conference – the nation's No. 5-ranked RPI league. Following the regular season, Tulane advanced to the semifinals of the AAC tournament. In addition, Tulane reeled in a new coaching staff, headed by Uhlman.

Following the season, Tulane placed two players on the All-Conference team, including sophomore Dylan Carmouche, who was the only pitcher in the conference to be in the weekend rotation for the entire season. Â

Earlier this fall, Tulane announced the addition of 19 members to its 2022 recruiting class.
