Gilliam Earns Cross Country American Male Athlete of The Week

NEW ORLEANS - In the first week of the 2022 season, freshman Aaron Gilliam earned American Athletic Conference Male Athlete of The Week.
Gilliam dominated the men's 5k at the UNO XC Opener in New Orleans, Louisiana as he claimed a first-place victory in his first collegiate race. He ran a 14:34.30 in the race, finishing nearly six second ahead of second place. Gilliam helped lead Tulane to a first-place finish to open the season.
Gilliam returns to actions this weekend in the Rice Invitational in Houston, Texas.
