
Tulane Gets Second Straight Conference Win at Home

NEW ORLEANS – In its second straight home conference game Tulane men's basketball defeated Tulsa 93-77.
This is the fourth time this season Tulane has scored 90+.
Jalen Cook lead the way with 24 points and seven assists. Jaylen Forbes dropped 20 and Kevin Cross had 12 points and four rebounds.
Tulane looked hot in beginning of the first half, getting a 31-17 lead midway through. Tulsa would battle back late to get within four with just over two to play in the first. A pair of free throws from Cook and a dunk from Sion James would have the Wave up 46-38 at the half.
The Green Wave continued to lead in the second once again stretching the lead to 15 early on a jumper from Forbes. Tulsa would only get as close as nine in the half before Tulane was able to get ahead by as much as 18 before ending the game 93-77.
