NEW ORLEANS – Tulane (11-1 overall, 8-0 American Athletic Conference) will host the AAC Championship Saturday in Yulman Stadium as SMU (10-2, 8-0) comes to town with the conference title on the line.

The game will air on ABC at 3 p.m. with Roy Philpott (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (analyst) and Taylor McGregor (reporter) calling all of the action.

Tulane is currently 22nd in the College Football Playoff rankings, 17th in the Associated Press Top 25, and 18th in the USA Today Coaches' poll.

The Green Wave enters championship Saturday seeking its second consecutive AAC title after defeating UCF 45-28 to win the league a season ago. Head coach Willie Fritz was named the conference Coach of the Year for the second season consecutive season, while the Wave saw quarterback Michael Pratt earn Offensive Player of the Year honors and Makhi Hughes receive Rookie of the Year acclaim.

Saturday's radio call along the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield will begin at 2 p.m. and will conclude roughly 45 minutes following the conclusion of the game. 104.1 The Spot will carry this broadcast.
