Green Wave Tangles with #25 Blue Raiders at Blue Gray Friday Morning

MONTGOMERY, AL – Tulane Men's Tennis opens the 75th Annual Blue Gray National Tennis Classic Friday morning at 9 a.m. against 25th-ranked Middle Tennessee at the Lagoon Park Tennis Complex and O'Conner Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
Middle comes in at 10-3 overall, while Tulane is 2-3.
The Green Wave will then face either #36 Auburn or #44 Texas Tech in doubles only to close the Friday action. The team will complete that match with singles Saturday morning before playing someone from the #36 Auburn/Nebraska/#38 Alabama/#41 Oklahoma side of the bracket in the afternoon to close the competition.
Tulane will feature Fynn Kuenkler, who is the team's top singles player. He is currently #74 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles rankings.
Middle is led by #69 Stijn Stump and #98 Oskar Brostrom Poulsen. Poulsen and teammate Francisco Rocha are also 44th nationally in doubles.
