Tulane, Florida Gulf Coast Square off on ESPN+

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane and Florida Gulf Coast will be in action for a noon match at City Park Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon in a contest that will be carried on ESPN+.

The 41st-ranked Green Wave (6-5) comes in having won five of its last six (on the court), picking up wins over #55 Louisiana (6-1) and #28 Middle Tennessee (4-3) in the process. Tulane's Rafael de Alba, for his sterling performance in both singles and doubles against the Blue Raiders, was named the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Week. Individually, Fynn Kuenkler, Tulane's top singles player, comes into this weekend ranked 80th nationally.
FGCU is also 6-5 this season but has dropped three of its last four. On Tuesday, the Eagles fell in a tightly-contested 4-3 battle at Louisiana. The team has one individual national ranking in the 77th-ranked doubles duo of Max Damm and Randy Wilson.
