
Tulane Led by A Pair of Top-Five Finishes at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday

SAN MARCOS, TX – The 4x400m relay team finished fourth in its event to lead Tulane's Outdoor Track and Field program at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday at the Texas State University Track and Field Complex in San Marcos, Texas. The Bobcat Invitational was one of two meets where the program competed on Saturday as the squad also participated in the men's mile at the Texas Relays in Austin. On the day, the Green Wave had two top-five finishes and personal bests.
The 4x400m relay team of Victoria Robinson, Janae Dean, Laura Fodor and Margot Temines ran a 3:49.55.
Macy Turcotte ranked fifth in the 800m with her time of 2:18.77.
Also at the Bobcat Invitational, Zander Dunbar earned 11th place with his run of 1:57.41 in the men's 800m. Maren Butler finished 19th in the women's shot put with a 13.97m (45'10") and Victoria Robinson placed 30th in the women's 400m with a 56.49.
At the Texas Relays, Aaron Gilliam earned 12th in the mile with his run of 4:23.39.
Next, the Green Wave track and field program, after a week without competition, heads off to California to participate in a pair of meets. The program participates in the Bryan Clay Invitational from April 13-15 at Azusa, California. The team will also send a group to the Mt. Sac Relays for those same dates in Walnut, California.
