Apr 18, 2023 | Women's Basketball
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University women's basketball announced the newest addition to its roster today as Head Coach Lisa Stockton shared the signing of graduate transfer Hannah Pratt. Pratt will join the Green Wave for the 2023-24 season.
"I'm so excited for Hannah to be a part of our team this coming year," Coach Stockton said. "She will be a great addition to our program. Hannah is a very skilled post player with valuable experience from a winning program."
Pratt comes to Uptown after playing three seasons at Columbia where she helped the Lions reach the championship game of the WNIT in 2023. She will have one year of eligibility remaining with the Green Wave.
"Hannah is an accurate outside shooter, excellent passer, and tremendous leader," Coach Stockton said. "She is able to impact any game with her ability inside on the glass and outside with her shooting."
In her senior season with the Lions, the 6-1 forward averaged 9.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 33 games. Pratt also shot an impressive 39.1 percent (50-128) from beyond the arc last season which ranked second in the Ivy League.
During her career at Columbia, she played in 88 games making 45 starts for the Lions. She improved her scoring output from 7.2 points per game her first season to 9.8 per game her final year. Pratt ended her time at Columbia with 680 points and 419 rebounds while helping the Lions make two appearances in the WNIT.
Pratt is also the sister of current Tulane quarterback Michael Pratt.
