TAMPA, FL – The 39th-ranked Tulane men's tennis team is back in action Monday and will host #45 LSU at 1 p.m. at the City Park Tennis Center.
The Green Wave is 13-9 overall this season, while LSU enters at 11-9. Free tennis racket bottle openers will be available for those fans in attendance.
Tulane, who defeated #50 USF (4-2) and #54 UCF (4-1) in Tampa last weekend, fell at #57 UCF (4-0) on Wednesday. The Olive and Blue is led in singles by its top player, Fynn Kuenkler, who is ranked 122nd nationally.
The Tigers started out 8-1 this season but have dropped eight of their past 11 matches. LSU surrendered a pair of 6-1 decisions to #32 Ole Miss and #14 Mississippi State on the road this week. Ronnie Hohmann is ranked 78th in singles, while Nick Watson and Stefan Latinovic are 49th in doubles.
The Green Wave and Tigers met once before this season, with LSU emerging with a 6-1 win in Baton Rouge on February 11.
