Volleyball Hits the Road For Weekend Matches

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Volleyball is back in action as they head to the University of Memphis and the University of Alabama Birmingham for their next matchups.Â
The Green Wave will take on the Memphis Tigers on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Larry O. Finch Center. Tulane has played Memphis 46 times since 1981 with 20 wins and 26 losses. The Wave has fallen to the Tigers in recent years, last winning in 2021. Tulane is 8th in the AAC while Memphis is 9th and both teams are 3-3 in conference play.Â
Following their action in Tennessee, the Green Wave will venture to Birmingham to take on UAB on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. Tulane last took on UAB on Oct. 2, when they swept the Dragons. Tulane is on a six-game win streak against Birmingham and looks to continue their run.Â
