Volleyball Reverse Sweeps Memphis

NEW ORLEANS โ Tulane Volleyball had its comeback of the season tonight against the University of Memphis, pulling through a disadvantage to reverse sweep their opponents. The Green Wave is now on a three-game win streak and 4-3 in conference play.ย
The match was a fight, with the Green Wave dropping the first sets 25-19 and 25-16 before staying alive in the third with a close win of 25-22. Tulane established their footing in the fourth, beating the Tigers 25-20. By the fifth, the Green Wave had the edge and won the final set 15-11.ย
Sami Jacobs led the way on offense and defense, offering a stunning 15 kills alongside 39 receptions. She had 17 digs, second only to libero Annabelle He who scooped 23 to tie her season record.ย
Agata Beksha also had a phenomenal day, landing 12 kills to tie her season record. Avery Burks hit eight kills and dug 22 receptions, while Sabrina Skyers also delievered eight kills alongside two block assists.ย
Zoe Rachow scored the match's final point, setting an attack over the net off a remarkable dig from He. She offered 23 assists throughout the match and is on her road to 1000 career assists, while Katherine Crosley provided a lofty 19 assits.
