Rachow Achieves 1000 Career Assists During Final Regular Season Match

BOCA RATON โ Today, Tulane Volleyball faced the FAU Owls for the first time this season. Though the Owls took the match 3-1,ย monumental moments accompanied the competition.ย ย
Zoe Rachow ceremoniously ended her sophomore regular season, lifting 27 assists to achieve the benchmark of 1000 career assists. She finished the match with 1,004 after providing 580 in 2024 play. She also tied her career-high kills with three against Florida Atlantic.ย
Avery Burks hit .290 from 12 kills and led the Wave in digs with 13. Burks and Sami Jacobs both gave 22 receptions, while Jacobs administered 15 kills. Jacobs added a service ace to her season total and now holds the second-most aces in the conference with 41.ย ย
Sabrina Skyers had six block assists against Florida Atlantic, her second-highest season tally.ย She is still ranked third in the AAC for hitting percentage with .331. Dayla Ortiz achieved her season and career-high digs versus FAU with 15. Agata Beksha tied her career-high block assists with five against the Owls. The team totaled 12 blocks.
Though the Wave dropped the first set to FAU 25-13, they rallied to win the second 25-22. The Owls returned to win the final two sets 25-13 and 25-18.ย
