
Sneed Earns AAC Freshman of the Week Honors; Whittington Recognized with Honorable Mention

IRVING, Tx. - Tulane's Kendall Sneed has been named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Freshman of the Week, while Kyren Whittington earned an honorable mention for the week of Nov. 18-24, the league announced this afternoon.
Sneed recorded the team's first double-double of the season in Sunday's home game against Jackson State, tallying 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Whittington contributed 22 points, six assists, six rebounds, three blocks, and one steal to the Wave's dominant 77-37 victory.
This week, Tulane will travel to St. Petersburg, Florida, for the St. Pete Showcase, beginning with a matchup against Florida on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, at 12:00 p.m. CT.
