
Track & Field Set to Open 2024-25 Campaign

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane indoor track and field team is set to kick off its 2024-25 season this weekend, with athletes competing at both the BSC Panther Indoor Ice Breaker, hosted by Birmingham-Southern, and the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, hosted by Boston University.
The BSC Panther Indoor Ice Breaker begins on Friday, Dec. 6, starting with the women's shot put at 9:00 a.m. CT. Tulane will be represented by 12 men and 23 women across the board.

The Wave will send three athletes—Bernard Cheruiyot, Wondu Summa, and Jordan Bendura—to Boston for the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. The trio will compete in a competitive 5,000 meter field, with the race scheduled to begin on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 5:45 p.m. CT.
