
Tulane Searches for First Win Against Oklahoma State

NEW ORLEANS- The Green Wave men's tennis team (0-5) will look to mark one in the win column when they host Oklahoma State (9-2) on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
Tulane, coming off a 12 day break without competition, comes into the match after a heartbreaking, 4-3 loss against UNC Wilmington.
The Green Wave's Billy Suarez enters the match with an impressive 3-1 record from court one so far this season. Suarez has achieved victory in all three instances by sweeping the competition, with a margin of three points or more.
Tulane's Alex Bancila also enters the match on a hot streak. The senior went 2-0 in singles in the last two matches from court two. He tabbed wins over LSU and UNC Wilmington.
Oklahoma State heads to New Orleans with a 9-2 record. The Cowboys are on a five-match win streak. Notably, Oklahoma State took down the no. 5 ranked team, USC on February 11th (4-3).
The Cowboys have two nationally ranked singles players: Tyler Zink at 21st and Alejandro Garcia at 32nd. Additionally, Oklahoma State's doubles duo, comprising Zink and Isaac Becroft, holds a national ranking of 26.
