
Morgan Gitlitz Places Fourth In Singles For No. 13 Bowling On Friday at ITC Sectionals

Fort Worth, Texas –  The No. 13 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team were led by Morgan Gitlitz's fourth place finish in the singles competition at the Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Sectionals on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas at Cityview Lanes.
By finishing in the top-five of the Fort Worth Sectional, Gitlitz qualifies for the Intercollegiate Singles Championships which will be contested from April 16-20 in Kingpin Lanes in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The rest of the squad can still qualify for the team portion of the competition based on their finish over the next two days at the ITC Sectional Qualifiers in Fort Worth.
Gitlitz placed fourth overall with 1312 pins. She had individual games of 168, 234, 256, 225, 194 and 235.
Emma Fetterman finished 13th in the sectional with 1274 pins. She had individual games of 187, 193, 266, 225, 210 and 181.
Yarelis Alvarez placed 27th with 1220 pins. She had individual games of 199, 226, 221, 193, 224 and 200.
Mia Stolakis took 45th place with 1187 pins. She had individual games of 229, 224, 190, 181, 173 and 190.
Kristen Derr was 50th with 1175 pins. She had individual games of 242, 162, 163, 210, 195, 187 and 188.
Cassidy Williams placed 63rd with 1152 pins. She had individual games of 192, 177, 170. 207, 216 and 190.
Juanelyz Solla earned 64th with 1145 pins. She had individual games of 157, 192, 193, 236, 184 and 183.
Katharina Mente was 80th with 1113 pins. She had individual games of 238, 220, 155, 168, 155 and 177.
Linnea Holcomb finished in 114th place with 1039 pins. She had individual games of 177, 198, 160, 178, 167 and 159.
On the second day of the ITC Sectional Qualifiers, the team portion of the event begins with four-four game Baker Blocks at 8:30 a.m. in the First Session. The Second Session on Saturday begins under the same format at 1:45 p.m.
