Tulane Visits Conference Foe Memphis Friday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's tennis will be on the road to face American Athletic Conference foe Memphis on Friday. The Green Wave will look to win back-to-back matches for the third time this season when they square off against the Tigers.
The Wave is 8-7 against Memphis since 2001 but has lost the last two meetings. The last time Tulane beat the Tigers came in a 4-0 sweep in Memphis in 2021. In Memphis the Green Wave is 5-1 against the Tigers with the lone defeat coming in 2015.
Tulane is coming off a 5-2 victory over cross-town rival New Orleans on April 5 at City Park. Meanwhile, Memphis dropped its latest match 4-2 to No. 44 SMU in Dallas on April 7.
Both teams feature a ranked doubles pair as the Wave's Luc Hoeijmans and Alex Bancila rank No. 74 and for the Tigers Pablo Alemany and Charlie Barry rank No. 43.
