Tulane Volleyball to Kick Off Season in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Tulane Volleyball is ready to roll into its opening appearance of the season, the Lobo Invitational. The Green Wave will head to the University of New Mexico for a two-day tournament that will put the team to the test for the first time this fall.Â
Their first match of the tournament will be against the host Lobos, taking place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. It has been over a decade since Tulane fought against New Mexico, with its last match occurring in 2010.
The Green Wave will follow up its morning match against UC Irvine on Friday at 5:00 p.m. The Green Wave has only ever taken on the Anteaters once (1997).
Their final match of the tournament will be against the University of North Dakota on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Tulane has played North Dakota four times in its history, ending most recently with a win in 2016.Â

Tulane Volleyball will head to southern California for the San Diego State Invitational, held Sept. 5-7. The Green Wave will host its first homestand, the Green Wave Classic, from Sept. 13-15.
