Volleyball Wraps Up Lobo Invitational Against North Dakota

ALBUQUERQUE – Tulane volleyball played its final match of the Lobo Invitational today against the University of North Dakota. The well-fought game ultimately ended in a loss for the Green Wave.Â
The Green Wave adjusted to the Fighting Hawks over the course of the first two sets and eventually came around in the third. Though they were down by 2 when they entered the third set, the Green Wave did not back down from the challenge. The team surged ahead, winning back a set and ruining the North Dakotan shutout.Â
Sabrina Skyers delivered a remarkable performance in the second set, hitting .769 with 10 kills from 13 attempts and no errors. She finished the game with 19 attempts and 16 kills.
Following an incredible first day, Sami Jacobs continued her statistical leadership with 9 kills and ten points overall. Zoe Rachow also worked throughout the match to administer 20 assists and nine digs.
UP NEXT
Tulane will head to the San Diego State Invitational from Sept. 5-7, where they will take on Portland State, DePaul University, and San Diego State. Then, they will host the Green Wave Classic, held from Sept. 13-15.
