
Track and Field Visits Vanderbilt for Mid-Month Meet

NASHVILLE – Tulane Track and Field is headed to Tennessee for the Vanderbilt Invitational, held Friday, Jan. 17 and Saturday, Jan. 18. Tulane will compete against 39 other teams in a spread of events for their fourth meet of the season.

EVENTS
Friday's multis events will begin at 9:20 a.m. with the Pentathlon 60m Hurdles, and the field events will start at 11:00 a.m. with the men's Pole Vault Open. Friday's running events will start at 5:30 p.m. with the women's 5000M.
Saturday will commence at 8:30 a.m. with the Heptathlon 60m Hurdles. Field events will start at 10:00 a.m. with the men's Shot Put Open, while running will begin at 11:45 a.m. with the women's 60m Hurdles preliminaries.
LAST OUTING
The Green Wave last visited the Music City in Feb. 2024, where they broke two 25-year-old school records. Janae Dean set the Tulane school record in the 800m with her time of 2:07.34 while Paula Vaquera set the Tulane record in the 3000m with her time of 9:31.88.
UP NEXT
The Green Wave will return to Houston for the Fastrak Athletix Indoor Invitational on Jan. 25 (Sat) before heading to Boston University from Jan. 31 (Fri) - Feb. 1 (Sat).
