Green Wave Travels to Ole Miss for Weekend Contests

OXFORD, MS – The Tulane men's tennis team hits the road this weekend for a pair of matches in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Green Wave (1-0) battles Ole Miss (3-0) Saturday at 3 p.m. The Rebels have defeated Eastern Kentucky twice (4-0, 4-1) and Memphis (4-3) thus far this spring. Noah Schlagenhauf comes into the contest ranked 123rd nationally in singles action.
Tulane's Luka Petrovic checks in at No. 101.
In doubles, the Rebels' Isac Stromberg and Matthieu Chambonniere are ranked 67th.
The winner of the match will face the winner of Georgia Southern and South Alabama on Sunday at 11 a.m. The Eagles are 2-2 on the season with wins over Alabama State (4-1) and Florida Gulf Coast (4-1). They were defeated by ninth-ranked Florida State (4-0) and 24th-ranked Florida (6-1).
South Alabama blanked Southern (4-0) on Sunday in its only match of the spring.
Georgia Southern's doubles team of Pol Del Castillo and Dimitris Paliouras is ranked 54th. Paliouras is also ranked 84th in singles.
The Green Wave easily dispatched Southern 7-0 in its spring opener last Saturday in a match that was forced indoors due to the forecast in Uptown.
