
Swimming & Diving Returns Home To Take On Little Rock This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming & diving team returns home for the first time in nearly four months as the program welcomes in Little Rock on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Reily Center Natatorium. All fans that wish to attend are encouraged to park for free in Diboll Garage. Any fans that are unable to attend can view the live stream here or tune into ESPN+ as Andrew Beyer will be on the call.
The live stats for the meet can be followed on Meet Mobile, which is a subscription phone-only live stat app.
The meet will consist of 16 events.

In the team's last meet at the FIU Sprint Invite on Jan. 4, Tulane won five events, set two meet records and had 13 top three individual finishes to earn second overall with 389 points.
Maya Wilson won a total of four events on the day as she was the victor in the 200 free (1:53.71), the 100 free (51.67), the 100 fly (56.62) and the 50 free (23.67). She also placed first in the preliminaries (23.86) and the semifinals of the 50 free (24.03). Additionally, her time in the 100 free was a meet record. For her outstanding individual efforts, she was named the AAC Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 7. Wilson is the sixth Tulane swimmer or diver to be honored this season following Catherine Russo (Swimmer – Oct. 1), Rachel Casebolt (Diver – Oct. 1), Andrea Zeebe (Swimmer – Oct. 22), Varvara Gkiouzepa Petropoulou (Freshman Swimmer – Oct. 22) and Gwen Shahboz (Swimmer – Nov. 5).
Andrea Zeebe won 100 back (57.18). Her time also was a new meet record in the event. Zeebe also placed first in the semifinals of the 50 back (26.72) and took second in the finals of the event (26.45). She also took second in the preliminaries of the 50 back (27.14) to qualify for the semifinals and earned third in the 100 IM (59.24).
Catherine Russo earned second in the 100 fly (57.87). She took third in the preliminaries of the 50 fly (25.94), won the semifinals of the event (25.56) and took second overall in the finals (25.24).
Lise Coetzee placed second in the 200 free (1:54.79).
Rafaela Sumida took third in the 100 back (59.86) and third in the both the semifinals (24.47) and the finals of the 50 free (24.35).
Paula Gaya Bisquerra placed third in the 100 breast (1:08.07).
Head Coach Amanda Caldwell is in her third year leading the program. The team is coming off an outstanding 2023-24 season that resulted in 64 lifetime bests, 31 all-time top-10 school marks, four school records, an AAC individual title, an AAC Freshman of the Year Award, 11 National Invite Championship Qualifiers, a Zone Diver Qualifier and an NCAA qualifier.
The program returns 12 swimmers & divers from last season in Anna Behrman, Emma Brady, Rachel Casebolt, Taylor Cekay, Reese Dunkenberger, Paula Gaya Bisquerra, Olcaytu Hatipoglu, Paige McKenzie Sydney Mullin, Gwen Shahboz, Ece Tanriverdi and Andrea Zeebe. The squad also is welcoming in 11 newcomers in Layla Allen, Lise Coetzee, Charley Floyd, Phoebe Johnson, Varvara Gkiouzepa Petropoulou, Catherine Russo, Eva Shawver, Rafaela Sumida, Lily Von Herbulis, Kelsey Weddington and Maya Wilson.
Following this week's competition against Little Rock, Tulane will wrap up the regular season and hosts West Florida on February 1 at 1:30 p.m. The 2025 AAC Swimming Championship will be held from Feb. 19-22 in Dallas, Texas at SMU.
